Authorized emission measurements
Discontinuous authorized accredited measurements serve the needs of air protection authorities (OÚ OSŽP, SIŽP, IPKZ) for the purpose of:
- demonstrating compliance with the specified emission limits (emission value, emission factor, emission level)
- determining the amount of discharged pollutants (representative mass flow, individual emission factor)
- demonstrating compliance with general operating conditions, expressed in the form of a physical quantity (TOC content in slag and fly ash, vinyl chloride in suspensions and finished products, accredited sampling of fuels, combustion residues, loose materials, liquid materials and suspensions)
Discontinuous periodic measurements of pollutant emissions are carried out on all categories of air pollution sources according to Annex No. 1 to the Decree of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic No. 248/2023 Coll. as amended by later legal regulations:
