Technological measurements

Technological accredited measurements, the purpose of which is most often:

    • Determining the efficiency of air-conditioning parameters of separation devices, which documents their technical condition (tightness, functionality of individual elements, etc.)
    • Obtaining data on emission production of ZZOs (qualitative and quantitative analysis of waste gases)
    • Optimization of sorbent dosage in order to reduce operating costs.
    • Verification of homogeneity and suitability of conditions for AMS-E installation.
    • Optimization of combustion ratios in order to minimize the amount of pollutants released, fuel combustion efficiency.
    • Optimization of operating parameters of final thermal oxidation devices for various internal customer purposes (e.g. as part of project preparation for repairs and reconstructions of separation devices).
    • Odor sampling and analysis in a subcontracted laboratory (EKOLAB s.r.o.) from point sources of ZZOs according to STN EN 13725. The above measurements serve to fulfill the conditions in integrated IPPC permits.

Technological non-accredited measurements, the purpose of which is most often:

    • Semi-continuous measurement of acid dew point for various technological processes (for the needs of optimizing the use of waste heat in heat exchangers, air heaters – safe operation above the dew point, protection of equipment from corrosion).
    • Measurements of components (O2, H2O, CO2, CO, NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, SO3, NH3, HF, HCl, H2S, CH4, C3H8, Benzene, Toluene, M-xylene, O-xylene, P-xylene, Formaldehyde, Acetaldehyde, Dichloromethane, Acrolein, Acetic acid, Methanol, Ethanol, Ethyl acetate) by continuous physical emission measurement system FTIR. The above measurements are used for setting and optimizing technological processes and separation devices.
    • Measurements and calculation of thermal efficiency of boilers and determination of individual heat losses of thermal aggregates and boilers.
